Studio of Motion Wear & Dress Code

  • We, as dancers, need to take pride in our appearance.
  • When we present ourselves neatly and stylishly, our ego will instantly increase because when we look good, we feel good.
  • We'll automatically walk with our heads higher when we are confident in our appearance.
  • Please remember that just like any school has a dress code, we have a dress code.

  • Acrobatics & Modern

    • Plain black unitard
    • Hair in a bun
    • NB: Unitard can be handed to the teacher for logo embroidery @ R40

  • Tap

    • Plain black unitard/leotard & 3/4 tights
    • Hair in a bun or ponytail with a plat
    • NB: Unitard/Leotard and 3/4 Tights can be handed into the teacher for logo embroidery @ R40

  • Hip-Hop

    • Plain black hip-hop pants and a studio shirt
    • Hair in a ponytail with a plat

  • Line Dancing & Adult Classes

    • Any comfortable and tight-fitting (if possible) clothes. Can come in tekkies
    • A plain black shirt can be handed in for logo embroidery

  • North Gauteng Acrobats

    • Studio of Motion Unitard

  • Studio Shirts

    • Studio shirts are compulsory for all students and must be worn at all events. Shirts can be ordered through the office
    • The old Studio shirts (plain black shirts with logo) will only be allowed for Adult dancers
    • NB: Prices differ according to size
